When LifeXchange Solutions needed their first-ever book, a companion journal to their amazing business workshops created professionally, efficiently and cost-effectively, they asked Swey to handle the design and the printing.

PRINTING LIFEXCHANGE SOLUTIONS’ GROWTH JOURNAL
A business change-management consultancy that applies neuroscience, behavioural psychology and neurolinguistic programming to help businesses grow, LifeXchange Solutions wanted to create a companion book, a highly detailed journal, to their advanced neuromanagement workshops.
It needed to be of exceptional quality – the research that goes into it is next-level – but the print run needed to be manageable. So they brought in Swey Design to find the most time- and cost-effective solutions to create and print their Growth Journal, while still maintaining the highest quality. And Swey were able to negotiate some incredible deals to make the project really worthwhile for the client.
WHEN DID SWEY DO THE DESIGN AND PRINTING?
The project started mid-2019, and Swey Design was able to turn around awesome and very involved designs on extremely unique topics across this 84-page hardcover book, to deliver it in November 2019.
And, despite the intermittent loadshedding experienced throughout the country at that time, Swey oversaw the printing and delivery successfully, with future print runs on the horizon.
WHAT DID SWEY DO EXACTLY?
We first brought the ideas of the team together and made them work across the book’s 84 pages. Now, it’s a complicated and highly involved topic, combining in-depth neuroscience and behavioural psychology into an extremely user-friendly format, with specially designed exercises, and, of course, there was a lot of mockups, design and redesign – which Swey managed with the client.
And then it was on to printing. Negotiating a worthwhile deal on publishing such a high-quality product at the optimal print run for the client was a challenge Swey relished. And eventually, we found a solution that worked for everyone. Swey managed the printing – delivery, proofs, adjusting colours, sign off etc. and the book was successfully delivered – despite delays due to loadshedding.
